Please help! My 01 *V8* LS is Missing a Vacuum Line
I Recently Bought My LS
It keeps throwing a P401 code *P0401* I was going to replace the EGR Pressure Feedback Sensor also known as the DPFE15 when I got ready to replace it I noticed that there was a vacuum line missing, it's the one on the left it says REF the one on the right that says HI it's hooked up
I need to know where the REF line hooks up on the engine?

Well, at least you gave us the year, and most of the trouble code (that "0" between the "P" and the "4" is important too). However, since the 01 LS could be had with a V8 or a V6, that's still not enough info to be able to best help you.

"OOPS" I'm sorry one of my "0" keys don't always work & I didn't think which engine it has mattered that much being that the DPFE15 fits the 2000,2001 & the 2003 both V6 & V8's not mention 592 fords,3 different Jaguar's, 48 Mazda's, 75 Mercury's plus 35 other Lincoln's besides the LS

Thanks for Pointing out the mistakes that were made in my post
I hope this form is nothing like Focus Fanatics

Try to look behind the motor to see if the line fell back there if it's completely missing. Then you will see to lines coming off the the EGR valve you will have to remove the cowl cover and possibly the the brace to see the pipes it connects to.
