Hy there you guy´s...
I´m speaking from Portugal and i have one question and would like to know if you could help me to awnser.
I´ve seen recently a documentary about the auto industry in America (amazing tale by the way) and there was a mention to this veihucle that was a V8 engine that would work only in four cilinders for economy sake and the most amazing thing was that it didn´t needed to change oil for life.
First. I wonder if its true. Then, does anyone know the model? Can you inform me where could I search for more information? As a simple student I´m trying to impress a teacher whith this information.
I would like to thank you in advance for the trouble and would love for some more info. Anything at all.

many v8 engines use some version of the Multiple Displacement System. The name might be slightly different depending on the manufacturer (some use the word variable instead of multiple).

I have NEVER heard of a vehicular engine that requires no oil changes for life! See this link for Motor Oil information.
