Has anyone done a PMGR starter conversion on a 1984-89 LSC?

I have not seen any tech articles concerning this upgrade.

"Well PA Performance has another worthwhile modification for your street or strip Ford; the lighter, more efficient, PMGR starter. PMGR stands for Permanent Magnet Gear Reduction, which is different from the Positive Engagement type of starter found on most Ford V8's up to 1993."

"PA Performance has PMGR starters for just about any Ford vehicle. At $135 this starter is well worth the weight (8lbs vs. 20lbs) and space savings. Price includes wiring kit and a lifetime warranty. "

That clears it up. Cool, and thank you. I think this is similar to the 90-92 starter upgrade for the 84-89 VII's. If they include everything, it shouldn't be too bad. The price is decent, too. I think a new starter from Advance put me back $90.
