Driving on i95 from NJ to NYC and the Check Transmission light came on. Pulled the code when I got home and got PO 732 (Gear 2 Incorrect Ratio). I hope this is the shift solenoid because I was planning on changing it within the next month. Does anybody have experience with this code? If the transmission needs any kind of heavy work I might dump the LS.

- Low transmission fluid level
- Dirty transmission fluid
- Faulty Shift Solenoids
- Shift Solenoids harness is open or shorted
- Shift Solenoids circuit poot electrical connection
- Transmission mechanical problems
- Transmission hydraulic control circuit

What part of NY are you in? I had this code with the tranny that I bought the car originally with. I never had a check engine light on (v6) but pulled the same code you have with a scan tool at a tranny shop. Regardless, I never really knew what the code specifically meant but it'd be nice to know what could have been done before it was butchered by a local shop.
