Ok, guys, here are some photos of my car after the coil conversion and chrome stripping replacement.

I bought the .485"/.240" chrome stripping from flexchrome for $20 per strip, needed two strips to do front and back, had to splice a three-inch piece on the back, you can't see it in the photo b/c it looks so good. I used 3M adhesive in spots to secure it, the entire surface wasn't needed. Can you guys tell a difference? Not bad for $40 when Ford would have charged $150.

I cleaned my headlights with a box of 6 polishing pads purchased at Autozone for $10.00, only used 4 pads for the front.

Still have a lot of little dings and scratches...I need to get a minor touchup paint job done.

how does it ride with the coil springs?

It rides a lot lower (of course), but I can't tell a huge difference in the ride. It might be a little stiffer than the air ride, but it corners better. I haven't replaced the rear shocks yet, b/c the Gabriels that Autozone said were for a 93 MKVIII had a 3/8" bolt hole, and the shock bolt is 1/2", so I had to take them back. I'll know more when I replace those.

I definitely think this was worth the money and effort, b/c this suspension should outlast my car, and I don't have to worry about messages or collapses anymore.

By the way, my front air bags are good, only 3 yrs old, and they are for sale. Somebody PM an offer.
