Power driver seat making clicking/grinding noise when moving

new 2004 owner here, just picked up today and i'm stoked.

i did a couple searches for this to no avail. title is self-explanatory. when adjusting power driver seat, there's a funny clicking/grinding noise. does not happen with passenger seat. definitely not normal.

any ideas? much appreciated in advance.

check for small rocks or small pieces where the seat rolls.

Yes, it's almost certainly dirt or something else that shouldn't be on the tracks.
