Well, at least it's not the damn window motor... Anyhow, hello all! Been working on my Mark VII for some time now with common stuff... Here goes a few more:

- The "mount" for the power locks has fallen off of the door frame on the inside of the door and now I have to lock the door manually. Does anyone know how to fix this simply?

- Is the area where the O2 sensor goes into the header more-so visible on the underside of the car? I can not see it from the top...

Assuming the mount has fallen off the door, the mount is secured to the door by a rivet. You purchase that rivet at a Ford dealership, or you can a nut and bolt (proper size) to secure the bracket to the door. You will still need to remove the door panel for access.

IIRC, the O2 sensor is easier to get to when under the car.

Oh, I already knew all that. The mount itself is broken at the area it is allowed to move. As in, the part of the mount attached to the motor has broken away from the part of the mount still attached to the frame.

You'll need a new mount, as repairing the old one is probably not in your best interest since it has already broken once. You can get this at the junkyard pretty cheap, most likely.

You want to get to the O2 sensors from under the car. Why do you need to get to it?

A case of something that needs o be changed and hasn't been changed since it was bought brand new... Consider it a thing to do.
