To quote Foxpaws:
Has Brown and the election in Mass. prodded the complacent lion?

As I said before, truer words have never been spoken by foxpaws here. Will a close race or Brown victory in Massachusetts result in the Progressive Democrats who control the party reevaluating their aggressive political charge?

No.

If Brown has an impressive showing today, the Democrat leadership and Obama will circle the wagons and intensify their assault on the country. To quote Saul Alinsky, "attack on multiple fronts, and never let up." and "success or failure is a mighty determinant of ethics."

Unlike a politician like Bill Clinton, Obama will not triangulate from the Congress and make the political decision to refocus his priorities on issues that reflect the views of the public. Obama and his radicals, being backed into a corner, will accelerate their fight, intensify their assault, and lash out.

Politico has a story that hints at this:

President Obama plans combative turn

President Barack Obama plans a combative response if, as White House aides fear, Democrats lose Tuesday’s special Senate election in Massachusetts, close advisers say.

“This is not a moment that causes the president or anybody who works for him to express any doubt,” a senior administration official said. “It more reinforces the conviction to fight hard.”

Well, Bush ordered our troops into combat, so he's just as bad. Both sides are guilty of it. I win the thread.

Yep. We don't need you anymore. You're like Jagger-bot, totally predictable.
