ok guys, IDK what this cap goes to. But when something says do not remove and I find it in the glove box, that worries the hell out of me. So what in thee hell could this go to, and worry factor from scale of 1- 10?

Remove your front wheels and take a peak to see if the "hub covers" are in place. I don't know what else to call them.

Worry factor? Defcon 4.

They most likely messed up the one you see and bought new one that's on one of the front hubs. Hopefully LOL

Now that I think of it, just pop off the center caps and take a peek...:Bang

wheel/hub covers! yes, yes, that would make sense. This car had a donut on it when I bought it. Previous owner must of tore the wheel up. thanks guys!

Front hub dust cover. Keeps dirt and crap out of your front wheel bearings. Not needed to function, but makes cents to have on.

...if you've got it, use it. If not, its not the end of the world

Wheel bearing cover as mentioned by everyone above. I hope it's just a spare. It would suck if you've been driving a dry bearing.

NOPE......only put about 7 miles on her. I've been putting all my money into safety/engine smarts first. Such as oil change right off the bat, because percentage was @ very little when I got it. And I plan on preserving this engine, Mercon V immediately going in tranny tomorrow.(reading this forum does wonders :) tranmisson flush stories are scary! :( but I think she'll be fine) Which is why I'm debating on a Jmod vs. Baumann kit for further tranny upgrade/preservation must haves. BTW shes a DD tomorrow so wish me luck.

Get it on with the J Mod, filter change, and be sure to drain the torque convertor. Mercon V is too costly to waste (approx 14 Qts for complete refill). I would also put on a plate style cooler (Hayden), and put a drain plug in the pan to help make it less messy on the next filter change.
