Product for Dirtbikes...Cars too?

The LS uses a coil-on-plug ignition system... the coil sits right atop of the plug so there are no plug wires. This device is designed to install between a traditional ignition coil/distributor and the spark plugs. If the LS had a traditional coil/plug wire setup, you'd need 8 of those suckers. At $200 a pop, not exactly a cheap upgrade. To make any difference in spark with these cars, you'll need to program spark advance or retard appropriatly, use a high powered coil-on-plug (which doesn't exist for our cars), or convert the ignition system to a traditional setup using a distributor, plug wires, and run an MSD ignition on it. Again, never been done.
 
Sounds like Lou's next project or some kind of headache, thanks for the feedback. I think I might run one on my bike though.
