ps leak

coming home today and notice the power steering giving out,get in driveway and flud coming out bottom of car.

so,i got underneath and its puring out on driverside near the rack,
that is so damn hard to see the lines and rack right there,any guesses as to what is leaking.

i think i could see one line where it goes into rack,looked rather rusty.not sue,

anyone.????

this weekend was to be my a/c fix and rear axle bearing fix.

now this..............

The love of an VIII can be a VERY trying thing at times.



I have seen the lines rust through completely before. Good chace thats what it is. What area of the country do you live in?

The "elbows" at the rack on mine rusted out. They're not cheap...I think the 2 of them cost me about $60. When it happened to me I replaced the rack (it was worn, but not leaking), outer tie rods, all p/s lines, and the elbows.
