I have a question about the A/C system on the LS. When I have the air set to 60 the fan seems to put out the correct amounts of air on whatever setting you set the fan to. However, as you start to raise the temp to say around 65-68 you start to notice a decrease in the amount of air coming out the vents. Is this normal or does anyone have any idea as to why this is happening? I know the A/C compressor does leak in this car as I can see the green dye but it's fully charged right now. I was going to have the compressor replaced before the summertime so is there a possibility the compressor could be causing this? I also just replaced the cabin air filter to make sure that was not apart of the issue and the old filter was pretty clean already but still went ahead and changed it as it did look old and obviously that did not make any difference being the other filter was pretty clean. I mean I guess the level of the refrigerant could be low as there is a leak but just wondering in general what could cause the issue of less air coming out on a higher temp setting.

Yes, in auto mode the fan speed, temperature, where the air comes from (outside or inside) and where it goes (dash, floor, defrost) is all automatically controlled based on the inside temperature, outside temperature, an sunlight level.

Just put it at the temperature you want to be, and don't touch it. I promise after a few days you will realize that it knows what it is doing and there is no reason to mess with it.

I will add that my wife's car also drops the blower speed while you are on the phone.

OK, Thanks Joe! I guess the higher the year you go the more advanced that AC system gets. I did not notice this as much on the Gen 1 is why I was wondering about it.
