Okay I understand that if I have black glue I am out of luck but does anyone have a picture of the lense with the gray glue?

I think I have the black glue but maybe with a pic I can be certain.

I have also attached some pics to help let you guys let me know.

there is a black rubber gasket the goes around it - that looks like what your are seeing. You have to pop the hood and look under that rubber.

You can get the black sealant headlight opened by Dremeling it apart. However, I have not tried this so I can not answer to whether or not it is sealable. Look on eBay for a used passenger headlight. There are more of those on there than anything. else. With you having a passenger side headlight with black sealant tells me that you had a headlight that was fogging and it got replaced. All new replacement headlights for the 2000-2002 LS have the new black sealant.

the only bad thing about ebay is I cant see the color of the glue.

Everyone keep their eyes open for me

thanks

what if I get the light and it gets foggy at times? Can I reseal it to get rid of the fog or do I have to buy another unit?

thanks

I'm sure the used headlights on eBay are either core returns or headlights that have fogged in the past. It is always wise to re-seal the headlights you get off of eBay anyway.

Here is a pic of the clear corners, they are honestly in very good condition, definitely better than anything you would find on ebay. I removed the amber turn signals myself and clean the lenses for a very clean look. This set came off my LS when I first bought it and I replaced them with set with clear corners that I bought off someone else, then later I found out that this same set had the grey glue, so and I went and uninstalled the amber corners.

does the amber piece pop right out? or is it glued in?
It's like plastic melted in. It is easy to pop the amber lens off of the black bezel.

okay once you microwave for ? seconds (how many) you take the light apart and pop out the amber lense.

then what do you do? I am sure you put it back together but then what should you use to keep the light together (brand)?

also where should yuo place it? Do you microwave again?
