I have a black 03 ls with light grey interior. I have kept the car clean, waxed and serviced very regularly. However, I am thinking about having the car professionally detailed to remove some imperfections.

My question is this, what should I expect to pay to have a complete exterior and interior detail? I know this will vary quit a bit, but thought I wouls ask. Thanks

a good exterior decontamination, one stage polish, and interior should be in the 300 range. depending on how bad the defects are, and how much you want removed, could raise that price to 700+.

for my details, i charge 75 for interior clean and dress, 75 for exterior wash, clay, and seal the paintwork. and that includes cleaning and sealing the wheels. and i don.t get less than 125 per polishing stage. the polishing is grueling work. but that.s where a good detailer really shines. make sure whoever you take it to is actually correcting the paint, and not just masking the imperfections.

Pete, when do you want to detail my ride :D

I detailed for an auto auction for a time and the charge was around 125 for the general public, 75 to dealers.
a team of 7 people would do the following with some variables: steam the exterior, engine, wheel wells, jams etc. Acid wash the wheels, clay wash the vehicle, vacumm trunk and interior, airhose clean all seams of interior trim, (depending on interior condition as many as four different cleaning agents would be used) Use a steaming extractor on all floormats, carpets and seats, remove all stains, dog hair, gum etc from interior. clean all interior/exterior windows, full buff job, all wheel wells, door jams and tire dressed with a back to black substance.
We had to do a minimum of 35 a day, and there was three lines of seven people going all day long.
I'm sure we couldn't povide the level of detail as one person could since the auction was very interested in mass production, but the cars came out looking pretty nice.
like Pektel said, it's just in how much you spend.

+1 on what Pektel said. It's all about demographics as well as client base($). I will say that most people are thrilled with just a one step polish (provided it is done properly) and generally that's what they go for.
