Just pulled the codes and this one came up. After searching, it seems the code means "IMRC stuck open", it doesn't say which side or anything. I've found out on Gen. 2's that they are electrically operated so can anyone tell me where the actuators are? Are there rods on the outside of the intake that you can try and move to see if they are gummed up? Someone let me know something. Thanks.

I'm not 100% sure but I believe Ive read that the IMRC actuator is underneath the intake. Do a search here for "IMRC" and youll find more info on them than you ever wanted. Good luck.

all it has to do is stick open momentarily to throw the code. your right, you can reach behind the intake on both sides, near where the head and intake meet, and move the IMRC's by hand. if they move, and both return to full resting position, clear the code and move on.
the IMRC box on a gen2 is on the back of the drivers side head, between the head and the firewall.
