so i replaced my coils and plugs without changing the valve cover gaskets (tiny leak near the exhaust manny) so i noticed my brand new plugs have a tiny amount of oil on the bottom... i quickly removed it all after driving for a day with out knowing. Would oil in my valve cover leaking onto my O2 sensor wreck my o2 sensor or make it throw a code ? im taking my intake manifold and everything off now already have all needed upper and lower gaskets. 13214695_10156910435145402_1226908754_o.jpg

No, but waiting too long to replace marginal coils would kill your catalytic converters. Why do you think it is the O2 sensor? Kill the messenger?

bad coils is the path to the dark side..

bad coils leads to misfiring

misfiring leads to unburned fuel in the exhaust

unburned fuel in the exhaust system leads to the cats suffering.
