Question JET Module for Ford/Lincoln/Mercury

I was talking to a local mechanic and he mentioned products like those listed in the link above. I am Curious on items like these compared to purchasing a chip?

Do they allow you to change your car back and forth?

Are they as good a purchasing a new Chip?

I'm not purchasing anything right now but I've been looking around. What sounded interesting is that you could change your programming with out changing your chip, when you wanted to me more high performance and then change back to your original programming for daily driving.

Unless I am mistaken by how these items work.

So opinions?

yeah they do work... ive watch this one episode if horsepower tv, they installed a power programmer from hypertech to a 03 cobra it gain 60 or 70 hp to the rear wheels. then they switched it back to factory. so they are out there! good luck on finding what you want.

Just looking and wanted more opinions. There's a lot of :q:q:q:q out there and I don't want to waist my time with it. That's what this portion of this site is about!

no prob, just giving you the heads up bro. i did not go that route i just got a SCT chip a month ago... im happy with it, i do not feel any HP gains but i did gain. but i do feel the smoother shifts, and the fan kicks in earlier, and all those lil things that people say what chips do. again good luck!
