Question Regarding Headlights.

I had StreetGlow 9007 Xenon-White Headlight Bulbs 100/80 and They were really bright and had the really sweet blue tint. Now with those bulbs I had absolutely NO visibility at night cars were literally overshadowing me on the road. Now i've read review after review about how good these bulbs were for visibility and appearance and my question is was the issue my bulbs or my headlight housing? My lenses have a bit of condensation but nothing really big just kinda dusty looking. I have since replaced them with the standard halogens that they came with and am now thinking of getting HIDS now should I get HIDS or were my bulbs defective and just get another pair and hope for the best? The Tech from streetglow told me that he never heard about not getting any visibility with the bulbs said a bulb is like a bulb it lights up and gives light so my dad and I were puzzled

any information or comments would be appreciated pS it was on my 97 Conti

Well, I say if you got the money get HID's b/c they're Smurfin awsome. You should post some pics of your conti I use to have one same year pearl white with 5% back and 30% in the front with 9831 Alpine head unit.
