I’m buying some new eibach springs, with new monroe shocks, and custom sway bar links all around. It was for his gen 1, this will be fine on my gen 2 correct ?

Do a search if you don't believe me but the consensus on here is that Monroe shocks are garbage, not even worth buying, worse than worn out factory ones they say. I'm not sure if the rest of the parts would work, but I'd guess no, someone else should know for sure though.

I’m buying it as a package deal from a buddy in ls fam, he’s selling ls and never got a chance to put them on. Wants $800 for all of it. Was mainly buying for the springs, as they are discontinued now and hard asf to find these days.

Well I'm not sure what the rest of the package is worth but the shocks are around 50 bucks each on rock Auto just so ya know.
