Ha! Someone just told me I WON 2 out of three. :Beer

My opponents 0.279 and 0.490 RTs constitute a 'red light' and by default I won those two runs. :p

'Course, not really, it was only Test 'n Tune.

Regarding R/T's, i thought that .001 was best, not .5? does that mean that my .124 is a DQ?

Some tracks use a .500 index, some use .000 for test and tune. A pro tree would be .400.

gotcha, so my .124 is good at atco then, cuz i think thats what they use.

btw, what do they use at cecil?

.124 is leaving quite a bit on the table. It means you were that much slower than a perfect light. Most guys who race quite a bit don't want to see anything slower than a .05 light....with the really good ones around .02 or quicker consistently. By the way...deep staging can really help that out. It costs you et, but wins you races.

Practice, practice, practice. My average this year was 0.154, improved from last years' average of 0.211. I feel good if I get a 0.0xx light.

I think you also need to learn your car. JP will probably agree with me on this one. When you launch your car there is almost always a delay (from the car and possibly tire spin). The last time I was at the track I was hitting the gas just before the green because the lag on the car (as well as my response) made up for that time. You have to learn how to make up for your reaction time as well as the car.

Absolutely. My R/Ts went to hell with the new converter and chip. I'm still learning to launch the new combination. :shifty:

yeah i definatly agree. My times can be much better, i was just focused on hooking up, and not so much my r/ts, i was launching in the middle of the last yellow. i just gotta hit it when that 3rd light comes on. iv only done 11 runs at the track, and 6 were this year, so if i do a bit more im good...but man, i got them street lights timed PERFECT! ;)
