Quick Question About Tranny Swap

Ok the guys at the salvage yard were doing my tranny for $600

today they called me tryin to get $200 more bucks out of me saying it isnt as easy as they thought it was gonna be because they have to drop the gas tank and the exhaust system to swap the tranny.

it is a 93 lincoln mark viii with the 4.6

please help, i dont wanna be scammed by these guys.

most people think you have to drop the gas tank but if they remove the two front rear diff bolts and loosen the rear mount they can slip the driveshaft over the rear end just enough to remove the trans but they do have to remove the exhaust
