My 06 ls's air conditioning blows cold air out of the far left vent, but as you go towards the passenger side it blows hot air? Any ideas why this might be happening?

Bad DCCV? (Dual Climate Control Valve)
Use the force/search. It will tell you the DCCV (or heater control valve) needs to be replaced. This has been covered almost as much as tires/wheels/coils/valve cover gaskets have.

Sounds like the DCCV. The Tasca ebay store has them for $99.00 plus shipping. I just did mine. It took about 1/2 hour 40 minutes

I just replaced mine (dccv) and only cause I had no heat coming. Now when I start the a/c it takes highway miles to actually get cold air to come out from the passenger. Bought mine brand new. Installation took a few hours but I made sure everything was done correctly.
