Hey guys, I just installed the Pyle 7" lcd double din radio in my car (which, by the way, is a piece of junk and don't buy it), and I'm getting an rpm-sensitive buzzing coming from the speakers only when the antenna is hooked up. Is there anything I can do to "clean up" the signal a bit so that I can hook up the antenna without the buzzing?

Oh, and before you say anything- it was a Christmas present, so I kind of felt obligated to install it- it wasn't my choice!

ground loop problem. hmm, what are you using for power and ground? are you using the power and ground wires that come from the factory harness? if not, use them. if that doesn't work try finding a new ground.

and if that doesn't work you have an excuse for the giftor to take this pile back for a refund.

Friend had this issue when he installed his dvd/screen. All it was, was an RCA rubbing against something or other and causing the feedback. Not sure if you have checked that or not but it's worth a shot.

I'll check that- there are so many rcas coming out of this thing. I am using the power and ground from the harness, but since I had to splice it, maybe that weakened the signal. I'll experiment with the ground more.

Thanks for the tips guys, I'll check both of those. My brother gave me a pretty good dvd/cd/mp3 player to hook up to this system, so its actually looking pretty good now. I'll post up pics when I'm done- I'm eventually going to add a carputer and run a car media front end, so it will look really good.
