QUiz: Name this part

It caused my engine to over heat, the pipe is found under the intake. Nothing electrical or hydraulic in the hose, all essential purposes it is just a hose. Check out the pic. Lemme know what you think or of if you know where to get one.

How do you know that this is the cause of your overheating ?

It's the upper radiator/thermostat hose, for a V6. Dealer only and the hose may be part of a package that includes more hoses for over $100, possibly closer to $200.

Did the hose blow out?

that is a YW4Z-8B502-AA hose and retails for 203.00 and lvc is $118.76 I can have one tomorrow and ship it to you. It is the coolant hose

I would guess a coolant hose since it connects the radiator to the engine and thermostat.

Why are the pictures dated May 2007? Are you just having fun with us or is there a point to this post?

No I found this pic from a previous post, but no one was able to figure out the part. There is a hose that runs from this hose to the intake that blew out of my engine and spilt coolant everywhere. The engine over heated due to low coolant. I'm just trying to find a cheaper price for the hose than the dealers 250.

Look on ebay you'll need the 517 for the V6 I believe
