36 hours ago, i got my car back and 500 miles of break in later, im more impressed with my car than ever! During the break in i was taking it nice and "easy." I didnt take it over 4k the whole 500mi (very very hard for me). But no matter what, i was losing the rear whenever id make a left at a light at arround only 3500rpm! And losing it badly too! So, about an hour ago i finally rolled over the break in limit, and LIT HER UP! First i started with a monster burnout by manually shiftin it...(burnt the tires all the way through the middle of 3rd gear). Then, i decided to pick on some annoying accura that was pushing me to race. (after seeing that massive burnout) Well, he beat me...but only because im not used to this amazing transmission! With t/c off i punch it, like i normally used to do (with only minor squeeking), but this time....another major burnout. Though i let off at about 4k, which came up instantaniously(sp) grabbed traction, pushed it up to 6800 (its in D) and BAMN! I hit the 1-2 shift and the a$$ end of the car swings almost half way arround going 60+mph! (JUST like the movie of genos car at the track, if youve seen it). I let off after that having enough fun knowing my car is a beast now. Next light, i feathered the throttle, and WHOOPED his hiney like a he was a redheaded stepchild! Guy pulls up and wants me to roll down my window...he asks me, "DUDE! WHAT DO YOU HAVE IN THERE!?" Im like, lol...its stock!...B1TCH!

OH it was great. I got a vid of me loosin the rear a tad bit but i gotta find the charger for my camera. Ill post that vid soon. Tomorow ill post more vids, pics and a timeslip! (going to the track) Im hoping for 14.7-8, it certianly feels like it.

Good deal man.....

I've got a 98 baunmann stage 4 with 4.10s and LOVE it. I have an Art Carr 3000 Stall about to go in on top of it.

I CAN'T wait.

AWESOME Andy! Glad to hear your Happy. Told ya' our Trans ROCKS!

Yes i am quite satisfied with the product! Perfect place for me to start. It feels as if iv gained like 50 more ft lbs at the wheels! I cant help but burnin the tires, even though i dont want to now. Its gonna take a few days to get used to the increased performance.

Yes, the throttle actually feels real "touchy" and you rip the tires off effortlessly, and that second GEAR! BAM! I Love it!

Its our LMS SD-4R70W. Raybestos clutched throughout, ALL the latest updates, our custom valve body, 11 inch 2400 stall converter.

It's $1650.00 installed which includes fluids and labor. 12/12 warranty.

Cool!! don't stop now, high 13's are just a few mods away!

yeah, def. Im just doing all the regular maitnence iv been neglecting while the car has been sitting with the old busted tranny, so once i save up some more money, by golly dontcha know ill be dropin in a set of 373's.

welp, time for a bit of sideways action before school.

I love how you've only had the car for a day and a half and you've already gone through the break-in period. That's awesome!:steering

Congratulations!!! Sounds awsome.... let us know when you got a video...

Wow that sound like an awesome tranny. How does it compare to like an Art Carr unit? Are the gears inside the same? How many clutches does it have? The last tranny I had built was for my 1990 Linc MArk 7 and it was a combination of an AOD and AODE we used the gears out of the AODE because they were stepper for a better launch. I had the valve body reprogramed so that 1st was 1st and the D was second gear and Overdrive was 3 & 4th. My mechanic used TCI components and clutches.

Sounds like a killer tranny, Mr. Wilson. I wouldn't go with 3.73's though, get at least 3.90's. Trust me on this one...

yeah? why? The only reason i wanted to go down to the 373 from 410 is because i noticed a bit of a hit on my mpg, but that may be due to a few other factors. prolly because im still learning how to control the car now.

lol! Man the car has been sitting infront of my house for the last 5 months, of course i wanted to get all i could out of the car as soon as possible. So, i did one of the things i do best...drive. Marathon driving, lol. spent like $75 on gas HAHA!

i might have to take a ride from mississippi to NJ to get one of these trannys installed. i wonder how many hours that would take? my tranny would definately be broken in by the time i got home lol.

thats awesome mr wilson.. glad to see your back on the streets. wish i could say the same, ima put some money together towards one of those bad ass tranny's too. congrads. L8teR :Beer

It sounds to me like at this point you need the gears more for the Trac-Lok than the numerical change. Definitely make that your next change.
