I am trying to replace my radiator on a 2001 Lincoln ls v6. I disconnected it from the oil cooler and the condenser. I had previously had to swap out the fan so I have that disconnected with the shroud removed. Both hoses are removed and the system is drained. Giving me a completely free radiator. I tried muscling it out with out removal all the hoses in the way and have it cocked at a 45 now. What else do I need to rip out to get this to come out. It seems like definitely the condenser lines but if I do that I don't know what ill need before and after. And the AC system is filled. So how do you get the radiator out?????

The "book" says that the gen I AC lines have to be disconnected and the condenser removed, but some here have posted that they were able to get it out without doing that.

I have no idea how some got it out without removing the A/C lines. But I couldn't get it. I had to remove the lines too.

No way around those condenser lines, have the a/c system evacuated to reclaim the refrigerant, then remove the lines. Plan on needing new O rings on the connections.

As a matter of habit, I'd replace the receiver/dryer after opening the system.
