Radiator Removal on V6 help

I have gone through all the posts about radiator removal. And I have looked through the online manual at http://deneau.info/ls/ . However after spending about an hour looking for the Engine fill cap for the coolant that is mentioned in the manual i finally realized that the manual is based on the V8!! Will all or most of the information in that manual be helpful?

I would still think a lot of the info should still be useful, just the specifics of removing the stuff in the way may be a tad bit different.
