ok well i want to put a different radio in my mark but i want to to still use the ten dsc cd player is there a way to use the cd player if i have a aftermarket radio.Thanks chris

most factory equipment has special plugs that can't be interfaced with un like aftermarket radios that tend to use a standard type of plug. so you wont be able to replace the radio and have the changer work, your best bet is to buy a cd player that can play MP3 CD-R's and you can burn MP3 CD's that can hold about ten albums, or a radio that is Ipod ready then you never need a CD again!
I've never heard of an aftermarket setup that works with the CD changer.
What are your goals with your new system?
I just put a new one in my mark... I had to rewire the speakers. All told though with my PF speakers, and my RF amp and sony HU it sounds REALLY nice.
