Thanks Quik,

That all I need to remove center console vents and ashtray? surround?

a butter knife or small flat screwdriver is helpful for removing the message center control panel.

yea u pop the ashtray out(i used a mini flat head screwdriver), and there will be 2 7mm screws. remove those and u will gain access to the 2 8mm screws behind that. remove those then u remove the ac vents ( flat head screw driver again and pry from the lower corners). those come out pretty easy also and that will give u access to 2 more 8mm screws. after you remove those the radio bracket will be able to slide out. then there will be 6 4mm( i think ) screws holding the radio in place.they are verry small so u might need to mess with some different tools to get them out. then you can remove the radio from the bracket. pretty easy. there are also 3 little tabs on the climate controls securing the radio, so you will have to pull the front of the radio up to clear those tabs to get it out.

If you do plan on changing your head unit to an aftermarket one u will need to remove those 3 tabs so that the aftermarket mounting bracket can fit flush. good luck
