The mach 1, as most of you know im sure, has a working shaker scoop by means of a tube that goes from the scoop to the filter box. say, if i mounted a mach 1 scoop on my hood, is there enough room to mount that tube to go down to my filter box?

Looks like it could be done, but have fun with that. Also, I saw an add for the parts to do it on a normal mustang, and its around 800 bux.

F that...ill just run pvc down through where the air scilence used to be, and down the bottom of the car.

its not the setup but...$800 for that? BS! :bsflag:

For $800, you'd probably gain a sh!tload of power after 3,000 RPMs or highway speeds...

Nah...very little horsepower. But one helluva neat shaker set up!!

And the price is VERY reasonable.

$800?! for a bit of plastic?

It's a helluva lot more than "a bit of plastic". It's the entire shaker set up.

You could always price out a used Shaker for a 428 CJ car. $800 will just about by you the air cleaner base!! Thousands for the entire set up. I know...no comparison to this...but it's still true.
