is not the name of doing a simple chore, but instead the name of a new material sold for the purpose of repairing plastic automotive parts.

I read about it on another board and watched the video on the RF website. It's shown as being 'just the ticket' for repairing cooling system parts and so on. I have a fabricated aluminium radiator hose connection from one of the RSR Jaguars to be used when I do the engine change but the RF stuff might make it unnecessary to buy parts to repair a fault that'll later on not be used. I have some Rapid Fix ordered.

Talk to me!

Very neat if it is even half of what they say. Of course, I've heard similar claims before. I need proof. I may have to get some to try. In general, it could be very useful.

Just for the sake of argument, let's say that the claims are true. If so, it would be very good for emergency repairs to the plastic LS cooling parts to hold you over until the replacement parts come in. However, I don't see it as a permanent repair. The reason for that is that the plastic deteriorates. Once you get one hole or crack, you are hours to days (maybe weeks at best) away from it failing in another spot. Eventually, the whole part would be rapid fix, which probably wouldn't work.
