Rare 1st gen LSC

A 96 LSC is my dream Mark... However, I think that if I just got a set of LSC bumpers, I would be super happy. Already have the LSC headlights, and the perf leather doesn't really matter to me. One day though, I'll find those LSC bumpers.

If you care to handle the shipping, I can give you a set of bumpers for $250

whats the difference in the bumpers from base to lsc, the difference ivefound so far is lsc has true duals, perferated leather int, diff head lights and bumpers too?

(still learning just got my mark not even a month ago never even heard of them beofre getting it on a trade, and already fell in love wityh car and have so much info thanks to this site)

i want that white one so bad.. sigh.

the LSCs have a chrome delete.
first gen, no chrome belt on the bumpers or the side trim.
2nd gen has the color matched grill and headlight taillight trim. and no chrome on the side trim.

and then first gen HIDs, 3.27 rear gears. 10 hp bump, dual exhaust, perforated leather seats. thats what i know of.
first gen LSCs just look so much more bad ass.

The first link doesn't work. Was it a chamelion 95? I'm the one who would sell his soul for one. :D

I wanted to buy a set of bumpers last year & the shipping was ridiculous. It was like $400.00 for both.

My Desire is KILLING ME

I bought my Mark VIII awhile ago, but have yet to drive it. It's been sitting by my shed and I'm only now gathering parts to get it going properly! I love this site, I've met Jamie personally (hate that he's getting out of Mark VIII's since I'm just now getting into them), and I appreciate y'all & this site!

Here is my Black 1995 Mark VIII LSC at the gas station I stopped at on the way to bringing it home (yes, it's very dirty):

I know what your problem is netkeym. It will run better if you pull that horrible tag off the front. Nice car other than that. :D

Here's another 96 lsc. Seems everyone is starting to get rid of them. 96 lsc are starting to get rare. http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/ctd/2692488078.html

I'm all over this like stink on :q:q:q:q. I notice the dealer plate, so I'm hoping maintenance is taken care of. Hmm... now I just need to travel 400 miles with $4000. Crud, I may just call them first.
I can't believe thats how much I paid for my 95, which had 150k on it (and now looks like butt, due to people in parking lots.)

Well, Car was a no go. Went and drove it for about 20-30 minutes. Drives like a dream, Interior and exterior are amazing. I was sold until we pulled back in and started messing with the CD Changer. Car started smoking. some type of fluid was leaking onto the 3rd cat. Asked if they had a lift and he sent me to a shop that does all of their work for them. They told me BOTH Valve Cover gaskets needed to be replaced and also both top ball joints.

Also Tires had good tread but were weather cracked and the Radio didn't work. When I told him what I found wrong with it he acted like he already knew exactly what was wrong with it. I Offered $3500 and he would not budge on the price at all. I told him if he fixed all of the problems with it I'd be more than happy to buy it for what he was asking. He said "Yea, We're not going to fix it. Were going to sell it as it is and whoever buys it can fix the problems if they want." I was shocked at how little he cared about the condition of the cars that he was selling to people. If that car was on a car lot in Pauls Valley, they would have been more than willing to work with me on the price and the repairs. Guess thats just big cities for you. I was so appalled on how he acted that I didn't even wait around to see if he would give me what I needed for my Jeep. I Wouldn't even think about doing business with him after that. On to the next one

That's how a lot of these small, side of the road used car lots work. They don't care about issues with any of their vehicles. Someone will come along, and buy something just because it looks nice, and they don't know any better. Dealer just trying to make a few bucks on a sale, and move on to the next sucker.

Very true Andy. I had a guy come to check out my p's truck last year., Didn't even want to drive the thing and gave me cash. I insisted he drive it so he did. After they left I realized he was prob a side of the road lot owner :(. Truck was in decent shape but that just reinforces that they really don't give a hoot.

The only car i've bought from a place like this is my old caprice 10 years ago. I got a decent one but 80% of the vehicles there were junk, straight from the impound lot/auction yard.

I've always bought pp minus that car.
