Rare TC Limited Edition

Anyone heard of this rare limited edition - 'Marlin Edition'. This is a very pretty car with extra chrome and two tone paint. Does anyone know whether this was a factory edition or an aftermarket thing.

There have been many 'Editions' - especially of the town car. Presidential Editional, Congressional Edition, etc etc etc. They are all done by the dealers not the factory and generally mean some special emblems and a carriage top.

Yup, there are a ton of "Special Editions" that aren't all that special. A lot of dealers can (and do) concot whatever "Special Edition" that they think will sell well in their particular market place.

For instance, I'm still waiting for the "God Father Edition " rumored to be soon released in the New York/New Jersey area. I understand that it'll have bulletproof glass, kevlar panels in the sides and under the carpets, and the interior to be done by an area funeral parlor. Should be a hit (err, pardon the pun)...
