In my 2000 ls I have two 12" sub's running off only 500 watts, not powerful at all. However when I start to hit lower notes my rearview rattles like crazy I've read it may just be loose can someone link me to a forum on possible fixes or how to take it off, I am a complete rookie.
Also what is a 2000 v8 referred to as? Mark 1?

No, it's referred to as the year with the most mistakes.

Just kidding, it's a First GEN Lincoln LS V8.

GEN 1 = 2000 to 2002
GEN 2 = 2003 to 2006

The LS was named Motor Trend's Car of the Year for 2000, and was nominated for the North American Car of the Year award as well.

Production of the last, rear wheel drive Lincoln LS (luxury Sport) ended at the Wixom Assembly Plant, Michigan, United States on April 3, 2006.

The LS went from a peak of over 51,000 cars sold in 2000 to less than 9,000 sold in 2006

262,900 LS'es were built over a span of 7 years, of those, only 2331 were manual V6s

there just a freq that make the mirrors rattle, both of mine did it, never figured out how to stop it (other than reaching up and squeezing it)
