Nothing, buy a different car if your after power. The LS was made for luxury not any type of serious power. I will probably get hated on for saying this but it isn't worth your money to spend like 2k to get all the performance upgrades for just a few horsepower. Then again I have no idea what your definition is of "real horsepower" so doing those upgrades may seem worth your time and money but in my opinion it isn't.

Depends on which V8 you have. 03+ are pretty gutsy from the factory because of VCT and better exhaust. They respond to intake (like KKM) and chip programing (SCT) pretty well. Beyond that your talking a lot of money for little more benefit. Of course you can always supercharge like Quik LS in this thread http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/showthread.php?t=13357

not unlike most cars - we have the standard bolt-ons.you can get another 30-40hp from these....
N2O is adding about 100hp (same goal for my SC project)
but if you are looking for a 500hp LS - not going to happen until we can upgrade the internals or someone drops a new 4.6L SC into it and redoes all the internal systems to work with that PCM.

I don't think there much you can do to the LS to make it a powerful beast. It's a lincoln, just apply all the bolt on's that you can and drive it knowing you have a nice looking, pimp car. Some day QuikLs will let us on in his secret and we may all have a SC LS, but until then, I think you are out of luck.

if i had to spend 5-6 thousand that would be fine. I think my 03 has around 280hp, i would like around 330ish, but no spray(nos) bin there done that with my 1/4 mile car
You don't need $5-6000, a K&N with a tune should have you in the ball park of 315-320 I think. Then toss on the Magnaflow exhaust (IF it ever comes out) and you should be sittin pretty around 330HP. So long as we're talking BHP that is... if you're talkin RWHP, then you'd better just keep track of quik's supercharger install.
K&N advertises "15.69 HP @ 6000 RPM" (http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=57-2562). SCT2 is supposed to be good for up to 15-20 on the 03's with the right tune (not sure if there is anything to support that like with K&N).
