Rear 6x8 or 6x9 Speakers?

There seams to be a lot of conflocting information here concerning the rear deck factory sub.speakers. Does anying know for sure if they are 6x8 or 6x9? Many people say they are 6x9 but if you use and od the online programs to see what fits the '02 LS they all say 6x9.

I'm looking to put the Infinity 6x9's back there and I'm wondering if this is going to cause me major grief?

Any responses I have found a number of people that have 6x9" in there but all the specs say 6x8

Most of the time you can mount 6x9's in a 6x8 hole.

If you can find a set of 6x8's you like I would get them, however you can use 6x9s, if you go that rought these are avalible

I was not able to fit infinity 6x9s, however, I was able to fit polk 6x9s.
