Rear Bumper Trim Help???

Well I went to my car this morning to go to work only to find out that someone had hit my car. While backing out it looks like they swung the nose of their car wide enough to hit my rear bumper. The damage is not severe, I think I can polish the scuffs off, but my question pertains to the trim pieces on the top corner of the bumper. The trim has popped off slightly, but I cannot just push it back on. If I do, it just springs back away from the bumper. Is it possible to get the piece back on tight to the bumper? how is it held on, just snaps or are there bolts? Any help would be greatly appriciated, it is a Black 2005 Ultimate.

Craig,

The chrome strips are held on by clips that are behind the bumper. You would more than likely have to take the bumper off to secure it the way it came from the factory. OR...you can use some heavy duty silicone or epoxy to secure it to the bumper. However, if it were my car I'd choose to take the bumper off and secure it the right way.
