I looked under my 97 Town Car today to see how easy it would be for me to just do a muffler swap and saw that the bottom of my differential was all wet, so I guess there is a slow leak because there doesn't seem to be a bad enough leak to form a drop because my drive way is clean. What do I do. Should I try to tighten up the bolts all around the bottom half where it appears to be leaking or what? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Normally what we do here if it is seeping from the front pinion seal, is we mark the nut with paint and remove the nut and replace the seal and then reinstall the nut carefully at torque and to the mark......that is the cheaters way but never fails.
