Rear end upgrade?

i was thinkin about goin with some higher ratio gears for my LS...Any recommendations from the veteran LS owners. I have a 2000 sport with the v8. Also where everyone gettin the sick hood scoops done. There arent any aftermarket hoods available , right?

no hoods. there are a couple of gear swap projects underway - but no one has finished them yet - so no results to report.
