Anyone replace the 2 license plate lights on the LS? LSKoncepts has some that fit. I looked at my LS to see if I could install them. I am clueless.

Thanks

Sure did, I used those bulbs to. They are all right I guess but I got these LED's in now...http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2pcs-161-168-194-W5W-Inverted-LED-White-Wedge-Bulbs_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33713QQihZ010QQitemZ200133325585QQtcZphoto

In order to get to them on the inside of the trunk lid is a beauty sheild thingy that you have to remove some what to get to the sockets for the bulbs. It has a few push pins that come out sometimes easy sometimes they are a pain but then you just twist the sockets and they come right out.

SuperbrightLEDS.com

just got a set of the WLED-x6 LED Wedge Base Bulbs.

If you get the white color (they also have blue, red, uv, and green), they look exactly like the new Lexus license plate lghts.

I wonder if the x9 bulbs fit, i dont know, but if you want it really bright, give them a try, they are pretty cheap

Are the bulbs at SuperbrightLEDS.com good bulbs? I really like the new Lexus white light look. Very clean.

Those are the same bulbs. I went with the single LED tho cause you wont really see all the others ( x6 ) just the light that comes from them. But I guess they all make that amount of light brighter.

The ones I have make it a nice crisp color that you dont see in most wedge bulbs ( unless LED style ) so I guess those x6 would be pretty damn cool.

Each bulb is mounted separately in its own holder. These holders pop right out, and then you can replace the bulbs. Buck up, even the clueless (like me!) can do it! FYI, I got a pair of blue-tint bulbs from Walmart to match my HID lights. The whole process took less than 15 minutes.

each of my license plate holders were broken along with the light bulbs. just under $40 a piece. i would like to know how "these holders pop right out"?? because i have broken one already getting it out.

+1, I knocked one loose already and the other one don't budge but when the bulbs are out they come out easy by them self.
