Well, I originally posted this thread to ask how to remove the rear springs. But now, ive decided that im going to go to the junkyard and get the air suspension computer along with the compressor relay. Im looking at a 94 right now, and if I can get it off the ground, the guy will take 500 for it.

Thanks... I can get a strut masters coil over kit for less than half price right now from the junkyard.. So im thinking about getting that and just sayin hell with the air susp. Who knows though, If I can get the compressor to kick on and pump this beeotch up.... I will be in luck.

I have converted to coils, If you need the compressor, relay, or the comp. I am willing to sell them cheap. I just need to pull it all out of the car! Its a 97 LSC with 95K on it.

Today I removed the front coils and struts within 15 minutes. Now, I am really wondering how to remove the rears. If I could get some type of visual aid to look off of, that would help. Ray, your writeup is confusing... So you just twist it and its supposed to come off???? Fill me in man. I havent done much rear suspension work on these cars...

oh just disconnect the rear sway bar and anything else that holds the rear control arm from coming down. All I can remember is the sway bar though the spring just pretty much sits in there. Make sure there is a jack holding the control arm compressed when you take the swaybar off, then lower the jack until its loose and you should be able to pull it right out.

Thanks, Im going to try that tommorow.

if you disconnect the sway it ought to let you pull the whole arm down low enough to get the spring out. It may take a little bit of force.
