I need a new/used rear spring for my 05, V6, 16" wheel model car.
There are some used ones near me cheap, but are from a V8 car with 17" wheels.

What difference is this going to make , are they stiffer, will they raise the rear, or....?

Thanks

I believe that the springs are the same between V6 and V8. Please note that the 16" and 17" wheels still have the same outside diameter.

Tire width X width-to-sidewall-height ratio X 2 (two sidewalls at top and bottom) divided by 25.4 (mm to inch conversion factor) + rim diameter = total tire height

16" rim, 215/55/r16 tire. 215mm*0.55(55%)*2/25.4 +16 = 26.3"

17" rim, 235/50/r17. 235mm*0.50*2/25.4 + 17 = 26.25"
