I noticed today that my left side sits 1/2" lower than my right. I took a measuring stick and used the wheel well lip as a witness mark and found that the car does in fact sit low on the left. This may work for NASCAR, but not for me.
As T-birds and MarkVIII's share the same rear setups, the problem may lie in the knuckle had been taken off and reassembled without thought to how the bushing and parts line up exactly as originally assembled.
I had replaced an axle shaft on my ’89 SC and in the manual it highly stressed to line everything up as it was as you first disassembled it or the car will never get back to the original ride height.
SO, I was wondering if any of yous people had the same issues and had twisted the bushing s up or down to get eth ride height to match the other side? Any tricks to this operation? I’m thinking about going to a poly set up and upgrade the rear and this situation will resolve itself.
