recall on ball joints

now i dont know much about this recall but if it is my ball joint that are making the noise in the front of my car would the dealer have to replace those for free?

not certain but I think the recall may have a sunset. You should call the ford customer service line to see if your car qualifies.

Write down your VIN then call:

1-800-392-3673

press 6 for Lincoln vehicles

once you've done that, press 2 for other info

you'll have to enter your 10 digit phone#

Then press 2 for all other info.

then hold tight & someone will be on the line shortly.

I have been having the same problems so I called that 800# just now and they told me that the recall was complete in December of 2000. So if it is the ball joints, you have to pay to get it fixed.
