I see most of you fix your own cars. Im asking where would i take my ls v8 2002 to have a tune up done/ coolant flush and my transsmisson check. Is the dealer the only place that can do this work?
If you can't DIY such a simple procedure sell the car and buy an applicance.
A used LS is not for someone who uses a dealer!
Just too expensive that way.
Yea take to a community collage. What makes you think they will know anything about the Lincoln LS?
I'd take them a normal car if i didn't care about it to much, but i wouldn't take this one to a cc, most actual certified mechanics don't even know shit about these cars, lol!Really??? The LS is 20+ year old (European) technology. Some of which is still being used in more recent years.
Don't sell the CC guys (and/or gals) short. They do have instructors ya know... and most of them are retired technicians.
Your negativity sucks.
I did Vo-tech high school AND CC... and learned a lot... and gained a lot of experience. I'm getting behind the times now, cause I haven't turned a wrench professionally in a number of years.
So don't sell the CC guys short.
Agreed!Heck Ford could not figure the LS out in their own dealerships!
If you want to own an LS. This forum is the one and only solution.
Well most actual mechanics know nothing about these cars and can't work on them properly, so you can go to no experience kids if ya want, but I'm gonna find someone that actually knows the car, lolIf they came out with the LS now... it would BE considered a "normal" car. It was truly ahead of it's time (in it's day).
my community college had an LS as a lab rat…Really??? The LS is 20+ year old (European) technology. Some of which is still being used in more recent years.
