Redline 5w20 motor oil, Is it the best I can get???

Hello, new owner of used 04 lincoln LS Sport V8 here.

Money and value is not a concern.
I want to use the best motor oil I can get. I here Redlines 5w20 motor oil is VERY good.

Any redline users have any info?

Is there anything better?

Right now I am useing Royal Purple 5w20. I like it, but its a Group IV oil, and Redline is a Group V oil. So Redline is made with better stuff than Royalpurple.
Anything better????

Congratulation on your new 04 LS Sport.

I'm suggest you try the SEARCH feature at the top of the page. Oil, filter and change interval has been so well covered with as many recommendations as there are members.

+1. As an aside, I've been using Walmart's brand full synthetic with a Motorcraft filter and 10k oil and filter changes since 2002 and 32 miles. Now have 100k miles and engine is perfectly tight/strong. Last oil analysis (blackstone) I sent in had the oil still in excellent condition after 10k miles of hard summer use. Have no concern about hitting my target of 160k miles before I sell. Me paying any more for oil would be a waste of money
