Reduced power mode?

I read in a poast that the LS has a reduced power mode, is this true and if so what all triggers this?

huh? maybe ur talking about traction control.. when its on and if u step on it the car looses power..

are you talking about the fail safe cooling mode?

The 03+'s have it. The engine goes into failsafe mode and will not let the car go past 3000 RPMS and it revs VERY slow getting there. It will go into failsafe if one of the modules loses communication with eachother. If the car has almost any type of serious fault. I got one messing with my intake system and the car went lean, it put me into failsafe right away.

If the engines start to get hot, the engine will enter a reduced power mode to help protect from engine damage. A display is flashed on the data screen. The car will eventually shut-off if it continues to get too warm.
