Well it has started. My very first car was a 1972 Ford Capri 2600cc 4 speed car in sunset red. At 16 years old I beat the crap out of that car and could not really afford to fix it properly so it was gone way before it's time. I have regretted it since then and have been looking on and off since 1987 for another one.
I found and bought a 1971 from Temple Texas which happens to be about 20 minutes south of Lasers new shop.
I would really like to thank Bill for his help on this purchase as he went out and checked the car out for me. I know it looks rough but the bones are there to create a beautiful little car. I am not looking for much here not going to mod it but rather bring it back to stock form but not a concourse restoration.
I cannot wait to get it home and work on it to drive it maybe next year. I know when I get behind the wheel I can just drive up the road and I will have a huge smile on my face.
