This was state of the art at the time..... 1984
TRS was the brand name for Radio Shack computers. Prior to this, you stored data on Cassette tapes... :) God I feel old...

thats just insane. For that price today you could get a computer with dual processors and about 400 gig of storage space. That things before my time.

P.S. Before that I had a Commador 64 and a VIC 20. Google it boys. Your watch and your phone have more ram than my VIC 20 did.

LOL! I've still got a cassette tape "drive" for my Commodore 64!

I wonder what we will be saying (or our kids rather) about the old P4 windows XP boxes 20 years from now...Man it's hard to even imagine.

Want one better? I STILL HAVE MY C64!!!!!!

And old school, I never used that one, but I did use the TRS-80 -- I also used the Apple II --

SInce then Ive had an 8088, 2- 286s, a 386, 3-486s, a P2, 3 P3s, and finally now 3-P4s.............

Add software to all that, and printers, scanners, and what not -- I could probable go out and buy a new TC or DTS for the money i've spent on computers.

I still have mine too, and even a VIC20! Damn C64 won't boot up now though. I've also got an original, one owner, Atari 2600 and an old school Vectrex...

yeah... I still have my 2600 with a bunch of games... kinda like playing it now and then none of that fancy 3d C.G. I also have, handed down from my parents, the original pong game platform... I forget what it's called, but it is a rectangular silver box that had the paddles attached at the end...
I still remember when when the Apple was the most advanced thing out there... :cool:
 
Uhhh . . . . . . I still have my sega genesis and a nintendo 64.

Thats the best i got.
 
a while back my old man brought a bunch of old computer parts home from work that they were going to throw away. I kept a hard drive from the pile that must be from 1984 or something lol. Thing, I think, is around 20Mb and weights around 10 lbs lol. Probably about the size of small microwave :D

I'll try and dig it up and get some pics of it.... funny stuff

Cool, I had a vetrex when I was a kid too!

My first computer? A Kaypro II.
My first computer in a work environment... IBM XT

Man, I was so excited to get a 386 with a Super VGA color screen...the games, the technology!

I think I got you beat I still have an original operating Atari that I play. :)
