I need to remove my driver side door panal. My button to roll down passager window doesnt wook somethimes.

It was EZer than hell on my 90 towncar...... but I dont want to brake any clips.

all you have to do is remove a small insert under the door handle. Behind that insert is a bolt. There is also a bolt behind the courtesy light. You also need to remove the trim around the door handle (snaps on). Then the panel just slides up.

the small bolt is NOT behind the door handle insert. it is behind the trim piece that holds both power window buttons(or on the right side door, the single power window button). Once you pop that trim piece out, you'll see the 8mm bolt.

if the problem is with the switch, no need to remove the door panel.

then, behind the little safety light lense(bottom, rear corner of the door panel), there is a single philips screw.

then, you might have to oop up the little triangle at the side view mirror(some do, some dont-I do). then simply lift UP on the whole panel, and it comes out.

out of all the intricate design features on the Mark VIII, the door panel has to be the simplest thing to physically remove from the car. I guess they expected some reason for doing so.

Read my post again, I didn't say anything about a bolt being behind the door handle insert. I said that there is a trim insert "under" the door handle that comes out and the bolt is behind it. Perhaps I should've said below.
